October 2024. Publisher Key Aero published a seven-page article in AIR International about H225 operations with the Icelandic Coast Guard. The article came about thanks to an interview with Director General Georg Kristinn Lárusson and several extensive shoots.

August 2024. Rotorcraft Pro published a nine-page article in which Icelandic Coast Guard Director General Georg Kristinn Lárusson informed Sven van Roij. Attention focuses on five years of flying the ‘225 in a challenging and dynamic environment, with constantly changing weather and a wide range of tasks.

August 2024. A two-page report on Armenia's only civilian rotor company. An account of its first five intensive years of existence in a unique market environment. Including various air2air footage and an interview with the company's CEO Arsen Manukyan.

March 2024. The Estonian NATO special bulletin published one of Svens images on the cover. The image shows an Estonian L-39 in formation with a British and  a German Eurofighter during NATO's eAP mission over the Baltic States.

March 2024. A twelve pages article providing insight into the history of 860sqn and its current NH-90NFH fleet. The article was supported by an interview with squadron commander Maurice van Mourik and footage of deck operations from the HNLMS Groningen (P843).

March 2024. The Aerospace corporation Airbus purchased a picture of two Eurofighters for commercial use in a newspaper advertisement. Sven took the image of the German and British Eurofighter during an air2air mission over the Baltics with NATO's Enhanced Air Policing and the Estonian Air Force.

March 2024. This AirForces Monthly issue included a four-page article on the history of 860sqn and its current NH-90NFH fleet. The article was supported by an interview with squadron commander Maurice van Mourik and footage of deck operations from the HNLMS Groningen (P843).

January 2024. A six-pages report on the Luftforsvarets Flygeskole, the RNoAF Flight School. An insight into the deployment of the 40-year-old Norwegian Saab Safaris fleet in an extreme teaching environment. Unique air2air footage was created during a photo mission with events never flown before. Professionally executed over the planned photo location after an extensive crew briefing and practice flights with lots of separation. The article text was written after a comprehensive and open interview with the flight school commander; LtCol Bjørkestøl.

December 2023. KeyAero used one of Svens images in AirForces Monthly. The image shows a Dutch naval flight deck officer that ensures a NH-90NFH can land safely on the deck of the HNLMS Groningen (P843). The image has been used in support of an article by a fellow writer.

November 2023. An article providing insight into the Estonian Air Force fixed wing unit, combining powers with the cAP. Sven van Roij met with Estonia’s Air Force Chief of Staff Colonel Janek Lehiste to find out. The eight-pages piece is supported by air2air images taken during 2 flights with the L-39s, M28 and NATOs cAP detachement.  

September 2023. The second of two articles focusing on the Estonian Air Force in Combat Aircraft Journal. In this part; how is Estonia dealing with the Russian threat? June 2023. Sven delivered five images to Eurofighter GmbH, made during an air2air shoot with NATO's combined Air Policing (cAP) mission from Ämari, Estonia. The images were published in the Eurofighter World special edition for the Salon International de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (SIAE) in Paris, France.

May 2023. Sven delivered two images to Eurofighter GmbH, the manufacturer of the swing-role combat aircraft. The material was used to support an article . The images - a formation of a German Typhoon with a British Typhoon - were taken during an air2air shoot with the combined Air Policing (cAP) mission from Ämari , Estonia.

May 2023. The first of two articles focusing on the Estonian Air Force in Combat Aircraft Journal. In this part, former helicopter squadron commander Major Martin Noorsalu looks at his unit. Officially, the R44 flight no longer exists as a separate squadron, but three Robinsons are still actively flying for the northernmost Baltic state.

February 2023. An article providing insight into the Robinson R44 unit of the Estonian Air Force. Includes material from an extensive air2air shoot and interview with former helicopter squadron commander Major Martin Noorsalu.

January 2023. The official annual calendar of the Eesti õhuvägi (Estonian Air Force) contains two of Svens images from a recent air2air shoot with the Estonian M28 fleet.

January 2023. A seven-page background article on the Instructor, a postwar design by Dutch aircraft manufacturer Fokker. Several S.11 operators in the Netherlands as well as museums collaborated in the creation of the publication.

January 2023. An in-depth article on the history of the distinctive Fokker S.11 Instructor. The seven-page publication on 75 years of S.11 was realized thanks to the cooperation of the president and pilot of the Fokker Four foundation Dominique van Wijk and Michiel, co-owner of the Instructor PH-SLO.

May 2022. A 8-pages report on the Malta Air Wing following a great collaboration with the unit, including information from an interview with Commander LtCol James Thomas Grech and an extensive inflight photoshoot with the beautiful Alouette III.

December 2021. The official annual calendar of the Eesti õhuvägi (Estonian Air Force) contains four images. One image shows an Estonian aircraft: a Robinson R44 in a hover over the Jägala waterfall. Sven provided this image.

November 2021. Sven contributed to the renowned HeliOps Magazine Calendar 2022 with an image of a Fuchs Helicopter MD530F on the Hüfi Glacier in the Swiss mountains.
